John’s Ride 2007On October 13, the Cushing’s Support and Research Foundation will hold its 1st annual bike ride for awareness in Georgia. Cushing Syndrome causes abnormally high levels of cortisol in the body which can lead to death. The effects of Cushing Syndrome can be devastating to the victim and the family. Cushing’s affects not only adults but children as well. The ride will start at Cycle World in Athens and end at the Chop House in Madison. Registration will begin at 9:00am. There will be door prizes which will be drawn for starting at 10:00am. All riders will pull out at 10:30am. Cost is $25 for the rider and $10 for passengers. For more information call 770-601-6278.
