Rusells Motorcycle Ride To Recovery (# 5615)28-Oct-2007
David Russell, 34 year old Stafford resident, was involved in a tragic accident on September 22, 2007. Dave known to his friends as “Dave-Man” or “Cave-Man” received second and third degree burns to over seventy-five percent of his body. Dave-Man will have a tough and long recovery. Doctors predict that he will be a resident at the Washington Hospital Center Burn Unit located in Washington, DC for more than a year. They can not predict the extent of his injuries or his recovery. He received several surgeries for skin graphs in just the first week and he will continue to receive surgery and other medical procedures for a very long time. Dave is a fun-loving guy with more friends than can be counted. He is an avid Harley motorcycle rider and loves NASCAR, especially driver Kevin Harvick. But more than his love for life, family, friends, motorcycles and racing is his love for his seven year old son, Jordan. Dave will have a long, expensive and painful recovery. Please support this fund raising effort to help minimize his expenses and to help ensure that his son, Jordan, is taken care of during his extensive recovery. All proceeds from Poker Run will be donated to the Dave Russell fund.
