Aselton Memorial Motorcycle Run, sponsored by Gengras Harley-Davidson/Buell, will be held on Sunday, June 1st, 2008, rain or shine. All friends and supporters of law enforcement on all makes of bikes are welcome. Registration will be from 8:00-9:45am at Gengras Harley-Davidson/Buell, 221 Governor St., East Hartford, CT. West Hartford police Officer Kevin McCarthy will sing the National Anthem just prior to the ride starting. The ride will start at 10:00am.A donation of $20.00, which includes coffee and donuts by Dunkin' Donuts and lunch by Outback Steakhouse, is requested for each motorcycle. The annual Officer Brian A. Aselton Memorial Motorcycle Run is held in June every year and is the primary fundraiser for Brian’s scholarship fund. Hundreds of motorcyclists from across the northeast participate on all makes of motorcycles. All proceeds directly benefit Brian’s scholarship fund. Brian was an avid motorcyclist and had purchased a 1999 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy the month before he was murdered. www.brianaselton.org |
