The 3rd annual Blessing of the Bikes provides an opportunity for all motorcycle riders to have themselves and their bikes Blessed for a safe riding season, while at the same time providing an opportunity for camaraderie and friendship and promoting bike safety, along with a positive image of motorcycling to the community at large.This non-denominational ceremony is open to all riders, all ages and all motorcycles, including dirt, street and custom bikes.Although Blessing of the Bikes is actually religious, there are many non-religious people who make a point to get their motorcycles Blessed every year.So, regardless of your religious beliefs (or lack thereof), you will be Blessed and welcomed; you will not be lectured to or made to feel uncomfortable.100% of all donations will benefit the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry.Lunch will be provided for a minimum donation of $10 in either cash or hygiene items (tooth brushes, tooth paste, dental floss, shaving cream, disposable razors, aftershave, deodorant, cologne, Tums/Rolaids, alcohol-free mouthwash, shampoo, bar soap, laundry soap, etc.)Rain or shine.Live music, prizes, food, 50/50 drawing.
