I am 7 months old and have recently been diagnosed with Pelizaeus Merzbacher Disease, also know as PMD. It is estimated that one in every 500,000 children are effected by this incurable disease. It is a progressive leukodystrophy and effects the brain's ability to produce myelin which is the fatty sheath covering nerve cells. This condition has caused my vocal cords to become paralyzed and therefore I have a tracheostomy. My parents have discovered a leading team of top scientific researches whose ultimate goal is to find a cure for PMD. Together they talked about future treatments,therapies and clinical studies to help me. All proceeds will benefit Rocco Yanssens and the account has been established by ESB Bank: 600 Lawrence Ave #724 Ellwood City, Pa.16117 (724) 758-5584. Donations will be accepted at any branch. Please come out and enjoy Live bands all day with food and raffles. Registration from 10am till noon. Last bike out at Noon and last bike in at 5pm. $15 Rider $5 passenger and $8 Dinner.
