As in years past, Blackstone Valley H.O.G. is continuing to support the hospitals mission of quality community healthcare and is looking for area motorcyclists to participate in the event. Blackstone Valley HOG really came through for us, said Kevin Poirier, Development Director of Sturdy Memorial. Every year they somehow are able to grow their level of support for the hospital. I am very impressed with the level of commitment that this organization shows for us. This years event will be held on June 28th with registration from 9:30AM 11:30AM at Precision Harley-Davidson in Pawtucket, RI. The group will depart at noon for a scenic, one hour ride through northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts that will end at the Elks Lodge in North Attleboro. A $20 registration entitles riders to a steak dinner, door prize chance and music upon arrival at the Elks Lodge on Bulfinch Street. I would be hard pressed to name a group that worked as hard as Blackstone for such a worthy cause, noted Firman Locke, director of Blackstone Valley H.O.G. We have over 180 members in this chapter and almost every one of them pitches in to get behind the great work that Sturdy performs for our community. Sturdy Memorial Hospital has been providing high-quality health care since 1913 and has reached out to people with innovative, proactive programs that promote health and well-being in our communities. Of late, Sturdy Memorial has been nationally recognized for their exceptional Oncology and Cardiac Care programs.
