CHARLIE's (Connecticut Heart Association Remembers Loved-ones Impacted Everywhere) Ride is a first annual even to benefit the American Heart Association.Pre-register before August 1, 2010 - SAVE $5 and receive a free commemorative ride pin!The day will start with registration (beginning at 9 AM). Coffee and Donuts provided by DUNKIN' DONUTS (42 Windsor Avenue, Rockville). Ride starts promptly at 11 AM.The 30-mile memorial ride will follow a scenic route through Ellington, starting at TSI HARLEY DAVIDSON (Route 83), around Crystal Lake (Stafford), and ending in East Windsor at BIG SHOT BILLIARDS and BAR, 2 North Road (Route 140).Following the ride: Lunch provided by OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE of Enfield, Live Entertainment featuring SHOVELHEAD, Open billiards, "Saddle-Bag" Raffle, 50/50 Raffle, merchandise. A "rememberance wall" will be displayed honoring those impacted by heart disease.
