LCPL David Baker, USMC was killed last October in Afghanistan, a few days after his 22nd birthday. He intentionally gave his life to save the rest of his unit on foot patrol with him that day. In his honor, we are planning a memorial poker run. Funds being raised are going to the Wounded Warrior Project.Sign-up begins at 9:00am at the American Legion post 336 in Painesville, located at 60 Chester Street. First bikes out will leave at 11. Tickets are $20 to ride, or $5 to attend and not ride. Payout for the best hand will depend on the number of riding participants. We will have food and live music, provided by the band NINEBIT.There will also be several raffles to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, including 50/50, a fully stocked bar, private club memberships, and a collection of restaurant gift cards. Military memorabilia is also being raffled off and is provided by David's family.
