The event will be judged and governed by the IBCA, and is endorsed by the Arizona Barbecue Association.The Downtown Chandler Barbecue Throwdown is a competition for the best in four categories: pork ribs, pork shoulder/butt, brisket, and half chicken. There will also be a Backyard Division for chicken, burgers, carne asada, salsa and dessert.
