Welcome to the 9th Annual Emerald Isle Bike Rally in beautiful Emerald Isle, NC, better known as the Crystal Coast, the Rally is on for 2012 and we are looking for an exciting rally with good times for all.Tell the boss ya got to have a few days off. If you have a bike, you need to plan ahead to be in Emerald Isle, NC, for the 9th Annual Emerald Isle Bike Rally™.For those past attendees, you know what to expect: poker runs deep into the best roadways of our coast! Full-time fun in downtown Emerald Isle, featuring live music, beer tents, vendors and artists, a custom bike show, tattoo contests, organized group rides, 50/50 raffles, poker runs, DJ's keeping it going, Pig Pickin's and biker games.And if you've never been, know that is a high-value experience, a shared community experience for Bikers, this event is supported by the Town of Emerald Isle and the local Law Enforcement and Fire Department. While we want everyone to have a good time while in Emerald Isle at the rally this is a small coastal community with strong family values and we ask that you respect all Local and State laws. Please obey noise ordinances after 11pm.Motorcycle riders attending the 9th Annual Emerald Isle Bike Rally™ find themselves cruising the same stretch of beach that some of the most famous pirates patrolled nearly 300 years ago.The Atlantic Coast off the coast of the Southern Outer Banks was where Blackbeard, the most famous pirate in American history, made his fortune and fame, plundering vessels in the area known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic for its thousands of shipwrecks. Blackbeard's vessel the Queen Anne's Revenge was discovered in Beaufort Inlet in 1996.Exploring towns like Beaufort, NC, pirates who lured ships to their doom by tying lanterns around old horse's necks, or Beaufort Inlet and Bogue Inlet with its colorful past as a place where rum washed ashore so strong it would slay the devil, provided bikers with plenty to sink their teeth into.Cool ocean breezes, amazing scenic riding and a full weekend of non-stop entertainment add up to make Emerald Isle Bike Rally™ one of the best fall riding rallies on the East Coast.
