7495 Iron Bar Lane Gainsville, VA Mark Young Send Email Hotels Weather Map/Direction | Fall Foliage Ride (# 11367)24-Oct-2009 - 25-Oct-2009 (Saturday - Sunday)Did you know that Virginia is home of some of the oldest Bigfoot sightings (according to the Virginia Bigfoot Research Organization)? NO? Neither did we! Some sightings on record are from pre-1880! Many sightings were recorded in the 1970's and again in the 1990's. Virginia is a hotbed of bigfoot activity! SO, why not join us for a scenic, open ride of 330 miles, leaving the Gainsville IHOP (7495 Iron Bar Lane) at 8:00 a.m. (last bike out at 8:30 a.m.) The ride travels through the mountains and valleys of the Shenandoah area. We'll travel past several of the recorded Bigfoot sightings and capture the breath taking beauty of the fall foliage! Ride ends at Patriot H-D around 5 p.m. Cost is $10.00 per person. Door Prizes will be awarded! All riders and makes of bikes are welcome NOTE: This ride is moderately challenging and recommended only for riders who have reasonable experience riding mountain roads with typical curves and turns.
