The Kevin Sumner Memorial Fund was established by Kevin's family shortly after his death to honor his memory and the service he gave while working in Law Enforcement.The proceeds from the 1st annual event will be presented to Kevin's two year old daughter, Jadelynn. It will be put in a college trust fund that Kevin's family has set up for her. Thereafter, with each annual ride, the funds will go to the Kevin Sumner Memorial Fund. Unfortunately, each year officers are hurt or killed in the line of duty. The Kevin Sumner Memorial Fund will find a family whose lives have been touched by misfortune and present the proceeds from the ride to that particular family. Any form of Safety Personnel may be included whether it be Law Enforcement, Firefighter, EMS, etc. It could not be more fitting to use the funds to help someone in need. That is exactly what Kevin would want to do.
