The KGMR 1st Annual Artillery Poker Run - Riding Beyond the Yellow Ribbon begins at the Kentucky National Guard Armory in Lexington, Kentucky, 4301 Airport Road, Lexington, KY 40510. Stops include Thompson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY NG Armory in Danville, and the KY NG Armory- Harrodsburg. The ride ends at VFW Post 680 in Lexington, 1494 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY 40511. Estimated time for this ride is 1 hour 57 minutes with a distance of 87.35 miles.Pre-registration can be completed at www.militarymissionsonline.com/pokerrunregistration.htm. Registration the day of the event begins at 9:00 am at the Kentucky NG Armory. Registration runs from 9:00 - 10:15 am. Riders pull out at 10:30 am. The ride will end at approximately 12:30 with a cookout at VFW Post 680 in Lexington. Cost to participate is $25 before June 6. After June 6, the cost is $30.Prizes will be awarded at the cookout at VFW Post 680. This event is a fundraiser.
