Once billed as the largest motorcycle event in the southwest, the Laughlin River RunBiker Rally has drawn as many as 70,000 motorcycle enthusiasts to the area during thehappening, and is something no true biker should ever miss. The name of the annual motorcycle rally comes from the river run to Oatman, Arizona;an experience every rider should enjoy. Past Laughlin River Run Motorcycle Eventfeatured some fabulous entertainment, including performances by Cheap Trick, DavidAllen Coe, Three Dog Night, and legendary Righteous Brother, Bill Medley. You can be assured the Annual Laughlin River Run Motorcycle Rally willsurely have just as many wonderful acts performing. However, the greatest attraction of the Laughlin River Run Biker Rally isn't all thefestivities you can enjoy in the little casino town of Laughlin or across the ColoradoRiver in Bullhead City, Arizona, but the scenic riding you can enjoy outside the townlimits. You'll be able to hop on your scooter and motor through some of the best country theworld has to offer. There's the historic Route 66 that runs right through town; Lake MeadNational Recreation Area is just to the North; the Mojave National Preserve is just to theWest; and London Bridge at Lake Havasu is just South. Hoover Dam is less than two hours to the North, Death Valley National Park is no morethan four and a half hours to the Northwest, and the Fort Mojave Indian Reservation isjust to the South before you get to Lake Havasu. Yet, all of those scenic attractions pale in comparison to the Grand Canyon, which is onlya four hour ride to the South Rim. If you've never seen the Grand Canyon, it's somethingyou have to see.
