Miltary Veterans Motorcycle Club Nate Palmer Poker RunNate Palmer, a 2009 graduate of Stonington High School has had a very rough couple of years. Two years ago Nate's uncle Brian Palmer, who lived with Nate and his father, had a fatal heart attack and car accident while driving home. Two weeks later, Nate awoke to find his house filled with smoke and called 911. The fire took their home and virtually everything in it. Pat, Nate's father, sifted through the few items which survived the total devastation. Pat found what he had been looking for: A Bronze Star. Pat had been in the US Army's 101st Airborne Division and served in Viet Nam. Nate and his father were taken in by family members after the fire. Then, this past March, while at home, Nate found his father unresponsive. Nate once again called 911. His father was taken to the hospital where he passed away.Who is Nate to us, the Military Veterans Motorcycle Club? Nate (Cupcake) is the best friend of (current Wolf Pack member) Hillbilly's son Billy (Twitch), and has been since 2001. Since 2005, Nate has been to most of our chapter's events. Although he does not ride, he has been a welcome participant at the club parties, gatherings and events. Nate recently started a job with a local company and plans to attend a local college in order to further his education. It is for this reason we are having the Benefit Ride.Any and all donations made to this event are greatly appreciated. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Nate Palmer Education Fund. It is our hope, that along with your contribution, we will be able to help Nate Cupcake pursue his education despite the losses he's suffered. We thank you in advance for your generous donation.
