Twelve Ozarks area motorcycle riding organizations will join together to lead the 3rd Annual Motorcycle Awareness ride through the Ozarks. The theme of the ride is "Can You See Me Now?" The area riding groups represented are: American Legion Riders, Bad Examples, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Bikers Against Dumb Drivers, Christian Motorcycle Association, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Freedom of the Road Riders, Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Gold Wing Touring Association, Lady Cruisers of the Ozarks, Ozarks Bikers, and Springfield Retreads. The ride starts at Remington's parking lot. Registration will begin at 12:30 with the ride starting at 1:30 p.m. The 75 mile route will proceed from Remington's through the towns of Nixa, Ozark, Springfield, Willard, Republic, and end at American Legion Post 639, 2660 S Scenic in Springfield, MO. A shorter route will be ridden in the event of inclement weather. There is no cost for participation and free T-shirts will be provided as available.
