Nh American Legion Riders State Wide Poker Run (# 15988)

It is our second annual State Wide Poker Run with six Chapters participating. Those Chapters starting locations are HHooksett, Manchester, Alton, Rochester, Conway and Lebanon. This State Wide Poker Run is open to the general public.All the above Chapter Poker Runs will arrive and form as one group in Contoocook, NH. All riders participating will leave Contoocook as one group, under police escort and flag cars destined for Post 37 in HHooksett, NH. Our scheduled time of departure from Contoocook is approximately 2:30 pm with an arrival time in HHooksett at approximately 3:15 pm. We anticipate on having over 300 motorcycles participating and we ask all riders to arrive in Contoocook no later than 1:30 pm. On arrival in HHooksett, the festivities begin, the event will be held outside with guest speakers, vendors, food, beverage tents, bands and more.All proceeds from this event will be going to the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund. The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund was established for the children of those fallen heroes who lost their lives through Operation Iraqi Freedom and America's War on Terror. Many children of our active-duty military personnel are now members of a single-parent family. In most cases, this also means their chances to attend college have greatly diminished. Children of military personnel killed on active duty are entitled to receive money toward a college education.
