Benefit Poker Run for the Children of Cody Rodrigue on Saturday, October 10, 2009 On April 11, 2009, Cody was killed tragically in a motorbike accident. He leaves behind a daughter, Paige and a son, Caleb. He is also the son of Patrick Rodrigue, Sr. and Merry Chelette Rodrigue. He is also the brother of Patrick Rodrigue, Jr. (deceased) and Westley Rodrigue (deceased). Cody was a great father, son, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He was also a great friend to anyone who knew him. Cody loved spending time with his children, riding bikes, and four wheelers. Family and friends are asking that everyone come together and help raise money for his children and also to celebrate his life. All motorcycles, cars, trucks, etc. are invited to attend. Registration at 8 a.m. and 1st vehicle out will be at Village East Fire Station, at 9:00 a.m. The last vehicle out is 10:00 a.m. The poker run will end at Village East Fire Station. The last vehicle in is 3:00 p.m. There will be food, drinks, music, door prizes, beer baskets, ? and ?, and an auction. The cost for participation in the run is $15.00 per person participating. First, second and third place cash prizes will also be awarded for best poker hand. A trust account has been established at Chase Bank in Cody's children's name for cash donations.
