The Goose Creek Lions Club will host its 2nd annual Poker Run. All bikers and passengers are invited! The Poker Run, just one of many fundraisers sponsored by the Club throughout the year, is an increasingly popular event with all proceeds donated to MUSC's Storm Eye Institute - dedicated to preserving sight around the world. The 2009 Goose Creek Lions Club Poker Run will begin and end at Sapphires Restaurant. The first bike is scheduled leave Sapphires at 10:30 am, trek through the tri-county area and return to Sapphires. Following the run, Sapphires will host an oyster roast for all participants.
