A poker run and concert sponsored by the Nebraska Innocence Project to benefit the Beatrice 6.Poker run registration at Dillon Bros Harley Davidson, from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Ride is about 125 miles and ends at the Anchor Inn. Cost is $15 per hand and includes admission to the concert.Concert at the Anchor Inn, 2499 Freedom Park Road, featuring local bands, Midtown Method, Conspiracy Theory and Rival Element. Cost is $5. Raffle prizes and t-shirts will be sold.All proceeds go to the Beatrice 6, six individuals who collectively served over 70 years in prison for a crime they did not commit. DNA evidence proved they were not involved in the crime in any way and they were pardoned by the State in January 2009. Since then they have struggled greatly to obtain housing and jobs. They have no savings, 401k plans, health insurance and several have aging parents to care for.
