Spring Breakout Run (# 11349)24-May-2009 (Sunday)
Terryville, CT

The Plymouth Community Food Pantry, a non-profit dedicated to ending hunger, will be holding the 1st annual Spring Breakout Run on Sunday, May 24th at Chute Gates Steakhouse. As more and more people find themselves unable to afford food for their families, we hope the Breakout Run will be one of the Plymouth Community Food Pantry's largest fund-raising events of the year. The Spring Breakout Run is an opportunity for motorcyclists and non-riders alike to kickoff the new season. Hosted by Chute Gates Steakhouse, tickets include a delicious roast beef dinner and buffet, live music by OZONE PETE and an exciting raffle with many great prizes. Proceeds from this event help make it possible for the food pantry to stop hunger in our community. We are asking you to support the underprivileged people in our community by taking part in this event. We are sure you've known someone who needed just a little help to get through a tough time. There are three ways to support this worthwhile event: Businesses can donate an item or gift certificate as a raffle prize. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the food pantry and will be used to purchase food for the needy. Motorcyclists can purchase tickets to participate in the Charity Ride. Tickets are $15 per person, $25 with a rider and include dinner and live music. $5 per person will be donated directly to the food pantry. Registration for riders is at 10 a.m. Anyone can be a part of this event, whether or not you ride. Come and join us for dinner and live music beginning between 3 and 4 p.m. $15 for non-riders. We know you are asked on many occasions to support worthwhile projects. Together we can help the disadvantaged, working poor, and elderly of our community. This event will be a success because of you. For tickets and information please call Erin at 860-584-1750Thank you for your continued support.
